Full-scale
Mertle & Dot is at your service throughout the wedding planning process! We're available for venue walkthroughs and consults with your other vendors, and will be all yours on wedding day. We’ll be onsite for your entire even to set up all florals, flip your space between the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and clean up at the end of the night.

Self-service
This is a great option for simpler floral orders! You’ll pick up your floral designs at our studio the day before the wedding, and will be responsible for all set-up and tear-down on site.
We’ll pack everything up for you in water and boxes so that they’re easy to transport and will stay fresh until your event.

What do Mertle & Dot's event florals look like?
Every client is unique to us, and we customize our floral approach to your event's theme, vibe, and color scheme. We love a challenge!
In general, our sweet spot is colorful, unconventional and unexpectedly delightful. We love using fruits and vegetables, disco balls, antique beer steins, Beauty & the Beast-style cloches...you name it!
What's it like to work with Mertle & Dot?
Our favorite thing about flowers is that they bring people together, so building strong relationships is our top priority when working with couples and event planners!
No two love stories are the same, and we think your floral designs should reflect that. From celebrating all types of relationships to honoring your family and cultural traditions, we'll ensure that your event looks like you.
We don't want to be just another wedding vendor on your list—and our favorite clients are the ones who feel like friends at the end of our time working together!
What does a Mertle & Dot event package include?
We get to know each of our clients on an individual basis, meeting over the phone and/or in-person throughout the planning process. Frequent communication is the key to our success.
For self-service customers, Mertle & Dot will provide:
- Consultations over email to discuss your event look and feel
- A floral proposal and quote based on your unique needs
- Custom floral designs that are made just for you
For full-scale customers, Mertle & Dot will provide:
- All of the above, plus...
- A consultation phone call to discuss your event look and feel
- Attendance at your final venue walk-through to iron out day-of details
- Full floral design, set-up and tear-down on your wedding day
- Other (non-floral) decor and event design if needed
How many weddings does Mertle & Dot do per year?
Your wedding day is one of the most important moments in your life, so you're our first priority, too!
We currently take on about 10-12 weddings per year, and only commit to one wedding per weekend.
That gives us the space to truly customize your event to you, and you'll always be front and center in our minds during your big day.
No missed details, and no pre-packaged floral designs. All eyes on you, lovebirds!
How much does a Mertle & Dot wedding typically cost?
Full-service:
Tying the knot in front of all of your loved ones? Mertle & Dot's sweet spot for weddings is 50-200 guests, with an average spend of $5,000-$20,000. Full-service packages include set-up, room flips and tear-down onsite during your wedding day.
Self-service:
Only inviting your nearest and dearest? We've got you covered! Micro-wedding budgets start as small as $250 (the starting price for a spouse bouquet), but generally range from $1,000-$3,000, and include 50 guests or less. Self-service packages are available for pick-up at the Mertle & Dot studio, and do not include delivery or onsite set-up during your wedding day.
Does Mertle & Dot do non-wedding events?
Of course! Mertle & Dot also offers floral and event design for:
