I was lucky enough to be both a florist and attendee for Travis & Krista's early September wedding in Milwaukee, and it was one of my favorites of 2024.
Krista has been a dear friend for over ten years, and we've always bonded over our love of antiques, fashion and interior design. So when it came time to design her wedding florals, I knew I was in for a treat.
Pabst Brewery was the perfect backdrop for these two, featuring classic German beer hall fixtures like stained glass, dark wood paneling, and even a speakeasy in the basement.
And when it came to the flowers, Krista had a beautiful vision—deep purples, bright peaches, and stunning blue velvet ribbon. But she was also so trusting, and gave me creative freedom to go where the wind took me!
The result: a perfect summer-to-fall palette, featuring a few favorite seasonal blooms like clematis and ninebark. I'll be counting down the days until I can recreate this look next fall!
