It's not every day that you get to flower for your dear friend and former roommate. So it was an extra special honor to celebrate the end of Chicago's stay-at-home order with old friends at an outdoor wedding in July.
Shannon and Steve's elegant palette of whites, blushes and blues complimented their venue's natural landscape. A handmade arch built by our mutual friend, Michael, set the stage for a ceremony performed by the one and only Mertle (AKA my mom)! To celebrate Steve's green thumb, handpainted plants sat on every table, doubling as party favors for guests to take home.
And of course, I couldn't have done it without the help (and sweat!) of my sweet parents and friends, who volunteered their time to set up and clean up.
