I may not have a scuba license, but I still had the chance to go under the sea for Bryan & Jake's Memorial Day wedding!
On a beautiful May Sunday, Bryan and Jake tied the knot with their nearest and dearest at the Shedd Aquarium. Chicago's iconic skyline served as the backdrop for their sunset ceremony, while the Wonder of Water exhibit hosted a reception for Jake and Bryan's family and friends.
We highlighted the couple's love of fishing in every detail — from boutonnieres that included lures to using seashells as our floral vases. Fishing nets and oyster shells offered unique texture throughout the space.
My favorite part? Bryan and Jake's sense of humor shined through at every turn, from a publicly posted "do not play" list by the DJ stand to a Spongebob-themed cake with a "16 years later..." topper that celebrated their long-awaited wedding date.
