One of my favorite parts of working behind the scenes on a wedding day is getting to quietly witness couples interacting with their family and friends. And let me tell you, Abigail & Brandon's wedding blew me away.
The love, intentionality, and appreciation that Abigail & Brandon showed for each other and for their people was extraordinary. Personal letters to every member of the wedding party, tallits that were family heirlooms, and a Tisch to set the tone for the day all made this one extra special.
A rich palette of reds and creams topped it all off, setting the tone for this couple's post-Valentine's Day celebration. And those fiddlehead ferns? I'm in love.

"I couldn’t be happier that we had Mertle and Dot as our wedding florist! From my first meeting with Alex, I was so impressed. She put together a proposal with visual examples of what she could do for each floral element of the day, including colors and kinds of flowers, which made it so easy to envision what our wedding day could look like (and was the first time I could actually do so!)
Alex was so easy to communicate and work with; she came to our final walkthrough meeting to confirm the wedding day timeline and answered any questions we had. She seamlessly incorporated multiple personal elements I requested—my husband’s late grandfathers’ prayer shawls as the canopy for our chuppah, a piece of my late grandfather’s favorite blue sweater wrapped around my bouquet, and my grandfather's favorite orchids for the cocktail hour tables.
And of course, all the florals on our wedding day were so stunning. Alex took my vague ideas and turned them into something beautiful that perfectly fit what I had been hoping for. Thank you, Mertle and Dot!"
